Chop up veggies. While chopping, heat up a skillet on low heat with some avocado oil.
Sauté your veggies until they are tender and the onions are just about translucent. Salt and pepper to taste.
Add in your ground beef and cook on medium-low heat. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder.
Once your meat is cooked, add in your ketchup, Worcestershire, mustard, and brown sugar. You may want to start with one tablespoon of brown sugar and then give it a taste to see if you'd like to add the second. If you're using a no sugar added ketchup, you might want more or less brown sugar.
Cook for a few minutes and let the flavors meld together.
Serve on burger buns, with a side of chips and enjoy!
